    In 2018-19 Parks Canada undertook stabilization & repair work but the erosion continued.

    As part of a Parks Canada inspection team, my second trip to Abbot pass in 2005 was easier than the first. The hut is visible in the centre of the frame as we fly over the Death Trap of the Lower Victoria Glacier.
